Published by Jonathan Cape, London; 1989. Beautifully illustrated by Quentin Blake. This book is in Fine condition, very tightly bound in it’s original navy boards, with gilt lettering to the spine. There are no marks or flaws to speak of apart from the usual minor degree of bumping to the spine ends and board corners. Internally the pages are clean and bright and free from blemish, appearing as new and unread apart from a crease running down the lower half of the copyright page. This lovely book is housed in a Fine dust jacket, with corresponding minor bumping and creasing to the spine ends and corners. There are just a few marks, a couple of faint blue marks to the rear and one to the top right corner of the front cover, and a brown mark to the rear oanel. Otherwise, the jacket is bright and clean and in very nice condition. In all this is a very collectable copy of one of Roald Dahl’s later books.
