Published in London, Printed by Thomas Baskett and Robert Baskett, Printers to the King’s most Excellent Majesty; 1742. softcover. This first edition is in Very good+ to Near Fine condition. pp. 711-723. This if the first edition of the 18th century Parliamentary Act to further regulate the Plantation Trade and merchants importing goods from the American colonies. This act reaffirms the Navigation Acts from the 17th century and further trade regulations with the colonies. This is the earliest official printing available of this act, from the Sessional Volumes of Parliament. Acts such as this, predating 1796 are very scarce as a maximun of 1,100 copies were only ever printed at that time, which were solely available for the Members of the Houses of Parliament, the great officers and offices of state and the judiciary (ref. Report of the Committee for the Promulgation of the Statutes, 1796).
There is some slight rubbing to the covers, and some pencil writing to the title label affixed to the front cover. The corners of the covers are a little creased, but internally this Act is in excellent condition with just the occasional spotor toning to show for its age. In all it is in remarkable condition for an 18th century piece.

This is an exceptional piece of British trade and colonialisation history from the 18th century that is very hard to come by and, as such, would be an incredibly valuable acquisition for scholars and collectors of this period.
